I am a Tree

A little ditty I wrote this evening:

Of the fish in the sea, I am the whale.
Of the animals on the land, I am the wooly mammoth.
Of the birds in the sky, I am the baldest of eagles.
Of the trees in the forest, I am the giant Redwood.

It was inspired by the Bhagavad Gita:

I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all that
is. Of all knowledge I am the knowledge of the Soul. Of
the many paths of reason I am the one that leads to Truth . . . .

I am the cleverness in the gambler's dice. I am the beauty
of all things beautiful. I am victory and the struggle for
victory. I am the goodness of those who are good.

. . . and I am the knowledge of those who know.
